Regrets, We all have them. The problem with regret is that it usually has to do with a moment, a time or a decision that cannot be replicated to stop the regret.
It's interesting to me that both first time portrait clients and return clients tell me the same regrettable (not taken portraits) thoughts. A first time client will say- "oh I wish I knew about you when my children were young" , "I wish we would have done a family portrait while my parents were still alive", "I should have had you do my son or daughters senior photos instead of relying and settling for the school's photographer." Returning clients, even though they love a "Wancket Studios Portrait" tell us " I regret not capturing my children individually, even though you suggested it." " I wish I had jumped in a few portraits over the years instead of listening to my self hate of my weight, etc...", " I regret thinking my neighbor, an amateur would do a great job and as a favor to her, I said ok". " I wish I had captured our family more often over the years instead of waiting until I thought my family was complete".
I Wish, I regret, I am sorry I procrastinated... Don't let this be you. And friends should not let their friends or families have regrets.
If any of this sounds like you or those you know and love, please, let's have a conversation or make an introduction so I can at least help you have no regrets in the Portrait and capturing life parts of your lives.
As always, I look forward to creating beautiful portraits to cherish and to hand down to future generations.
