Few gifts transcend time like an exquisite Wancket Studio fine-art portrait. My approach is unique and complete. I get to know my clients before we begin our photo session to understand who they are, what they want and what brings out their true essence. I then create and capture a perfect moment for a distinctive portrait that will be admired and handed down for generations.

Families and individuals throughout the country have chosen me to create their enduring portraiture for more than 30 years.

A student of fine art, I studied the Old Masters and incorporate similar techniques, determining color harmony, and mood of the background and setting to create timeless portraits that evoke grace and dignity. The result is portraiture with a fine art aesthetic and a creative flair where historical inference merges with a more modern contemporary expression.

THE STUDIO

Eleven acres of wooded forest and hills provide a perfect setting for inspiration. The studio, housed in a restored barn, offers a peaceful retreat for our clients. Portraits of all sizes and styles are displayed throughout our frame galley. The collection of beautiful backdrops and elegant furnishings add a unique charm to the barn.
